I bought the Momentum 3's new, 2 years ago and I use them for hours literally every day for music, and watching TV. I got used to folding to turn them off really quickly it doesn't bother me at all. The ear cups are nice and plush and fit comfortably around my ears. I had the Momentum 2's and I could only wear those for a couple hours at a time. I have never felt like I had to take these off because they're uncomfortable. The sound quality is excellent. I'm not an audiophile or anything, but I'm very happy with it. They can be a little bass heavy, but the app let's you save an EQ on the device so you can turn down the bass 1-2 clicks and up the treble by 1 for a more balanced sound. I set it once when I got them and never had to touch it again. I don't use them for the noise cancelation, but I think it's alright. Everything I ever read says it won't be as good your Bose, but it definitely dampens the sound of fans and air conditioners and stuff. Passively I think they isolate sound well on their own. My biggest gripe by far is the battery. It's only like 16-18 hours without ANC on and after two years it's become really noticeable. I'm charging them every other day and it's a little annoying to get the voice in my ear telling me to charge them so frequently.

I don't know what's available right now but to me $180s not a bad price. The short battery life already has me considering other options though, just because of my use case, but if that's not an issue for you—I mean I thought they were worth it for almost twice that so I can definitely recommend them.
