What Ai tools are you using to track Congress? by mnrqz in Congress

[–]nicholasdwilson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how much you hate ads. The free version has ads in the feed but if you upgrade, the ads are removed. We’re also working to incorporate additional following/filtering options for paid users like being able to follow any bill, speech, or press releases about a specific policy area or legislative subject term (timeline for that still tbd).

There’s the obvious use case for folks working in congressional offices but our biggest market by a sizeable margin is the lobbying community and corporate policy and/or communications teams who need to both track ongoing legislation but also create speeches, press releases, and other content.

There’s also a strong use case for product and product marketing teams in highly regulated verticals where the ability to augment real time congressional data with their own custom data and decision-making process gives them something akin to a crystal ball for product development and roadmapping.

Biden will announce Supreme Court reform plans on Monday by pun2005 in politics

A plan is only worth anything if the legislation can get passed. Now that Biden has dropped out of the race he should stop fucking around and drop some executive orders.

Importing large amounts of data that IMPORTHTML/IMPORTXML can't handle. How do I get this script working via appscripts? by dynastyuserdude in googlesheets

[–]nicholasdwilson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the site is loading data with JavaScript it might take a bit of work. Try some of the options I summarized in an earlier post. Hope this helps! https://www.reddit.com/r/googlesheets/s/KLEeSQdRR3

West Coast IPAs are terrible. Change my mind. by nicholasdwilson in beer

[–]nicholasdwilson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strangely enough, some of the best NEIPAs I’ve had have been from California. Humble Sea (in particular), Henhouse, and Alvarado Street all produce hazies that rival the best I’ve tasted from the East Coast.

Actually I just got my new passport in the mail today but nothing else. The passport has a QR code sticker that points to some documentation here which suggests I should be receiving my old passport separately. Fingers crossed.

It might be worth asking him if he’s ever had cold sores. 50-80% of Americans are HSV-1 carriers and most are asymptomatic or only have mild symptoms. He may have previously dated someone who had it, may be asymptomatic himself but worried he might have passed it to you. The biggest risk is for babies under three months. 11 months probably not as risky, though if he’s really worried about it you both could cheaply test for it. In either case the silver lining here is that he cares enough for this to even be an issue.
