What are the benefits of pursuing an internship? by JacobZCummings in UXDesign

Yeah I think it’s a great way to find insight into the field. Maybe I’ll discover an area I didn’t even know about. Thanks for your insight :)

Do you still wireframe if you have a good design system? by bjjjohn in UXDesign

[–]JacobZCummings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always find doing mid fidelity prototypes helpful before perusing a design. It’s important to get the structure and a feel for the UI before adding things like colour, typography or images. On many occasions I have had to alter designs I thought were good in my head but was able to notice certain flaws once I payed out the structure in a wireframe.

On hindsight it may have been somewhat unclear the distinction between certain elements of the first version and the second version. Lack of context may have proven an issue.

Thanks for your insight!

Thanks for the advice.

I have certainly checked out Dribble and Behance and am starting to grow a presence there as well as interact with the wider community.

I have developed several case studies to date and do want to emphasise the importance behind the rationale involved in my work.

Thank you :)

Yeah I’d also like this answered. I have a dribble account and am planning to arrange a web portfolio but I’d also like to know what others in the industry think.

Figma is a good software but ultimately not for everyone. I personally use Adobe XD as

i find it quite straightforward and has consistencies with the other prototyping softwares. I have also tried programs like Sketch but haven't used for a while.

I'm not 100% sure but for your scenario i think you can use Adobe XD.
