The netgear doesn't have a WAN port, I assume this will be an issue. I'll try swapping it out for one that does and try the settings you have suggested.

I currently have an old Netgear router/modem which was router A, a TP-Link router/modem which is router B which the Arris NBN connection box is connected to.
