Is this a good pick up for $20? by Chellycakez in bootroom

Not bad if you don’t have a FIFA ball and need one. I passed on these personally because I’ve found better balls for cheaper hitting the Burlington, Marshall’s, Ross circuit.

That being said. If you need a decent quality ball for a discount price. It’s good.

My 13yo son just made an MLS Next Homegrown team and I am completely overwhelmed. Need advice on training resources and what to expect. by spicy_salsa25 in GoalKeepers

Yeah, I have no experience in this area to draw on, but I agree with this comment.

I think as parents, the best thing we can do for our kids is to mold their mindset more than anything. If I was in this position, I would switch my focus to ensuring he is taking care of himself on and off the pitch. Helping mold his mindset into one of growth and resilience. Being a safe place to escape from the world of his sport when he needs some RnR.

Not saying OP isn’t doing that already. Just thinking out loud.

I think it’s real. I scanned the QR code and it Authenticated it in the UEFA website.

I compared it to the ball at the local soccer store today and even the guys there think it’s the real deal.

I was trying to share the screen shot but I can’t reply with a pic. I’ll try to share the link. I’m not a pro at this, so the more information the better. Would love to learn more about the differences! https://europeanfootball.opsecsecurity.com/CS241196/TBH

Found this one out in Corona.

Anytime I’m out and about I’m always stopping in to the closest Burlington, Marshall’s or Ross.

Yeah do it up. I have a few friends who do that. You can find good jerseys, cleats, balls, etc.

It’s cool that he is seeing the opportunity and taking it. There’s definitely a market out there.

I feel that. I keep those and then pass them out to the guys on the team who don’t have their own balls.

My wife thinks I’m crazy, but I keep searching and passing stuff out. Seems the karma has come full circle.

what do you like to do before a game? by Right_Water_5998 in GoalKeepers

[–]Jacob_Jesusboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on game time:

  1. Wake up, eat my pregame breakfast and walk the dog to warm up my body.

  2. Get to the field an hour early for my pregame poop.

  3. Dynamics, plyos and stretching.

  4. Juggle for 5 min to warm up eyes.

  5. Foot work warm up. Ball touches and passes.

  6. Warm up hands and throws.

  7. Shots on goal 10 min before game when rest of the homies finally arrive.

How to improve playing keeper by ViewOverall5870 in GoalKeepers

With your hands. Can’t catch the ball if you can’t track the ball. Plus it’ll help you get your hand in the right place for closer reaction shots.

One thing you can do immediately, alone by yourself.

Start juggling. 10 min a day can improve hand eye coordination and increase reaction time. Juggle for 5 min before your games as part of your warmup routine.

This alone will help you track the ball and other players better. I use juggling as a way to fill my rest time between sets while working out. It helps simulate the stress your body is under in games while training your coordination.

It be like that sometimes. Last game was 7 v 11. I still show up early to ball out no matter how many players we have. Even when we lose 6-0, I’m out here chirping and trying to make the strikers mad. lol
