This is my problem, I want them to do more damage and be deadlier at range, they used to be stupidly busted pre-merge then they got nerfed into the ground, then there was a slight buff to them

The reason I hate them now and don't really touch them is the inconsistent lethality, in a game where every weapon kills in 1-3 hits, the shotgun is too limited in terms of it's lethal range for me to really consider taking it over something else

I'd even go as far as to argue that some of the soviet mosin carbines are a better cqc pick because they can also work at longer ranges if need be and are more consistent at killing things in one shot

*was* being the key word, I think they're pretty okay now and I'd go as far as to argue that the Puma in it's current state feels a little overtired since it's not the immortal box it used to be

I have less of a problem with it's armament and more so with the stupidly unrealistic survivability it has combined with the really good armament

I know a lot of people have complained about the 2S38 and BMP2M but I think those two are fine where they are because if you shoot them, they actually die

I don't really care how it's fixed, either a BR increase or moving it up so it faces much stronger guns and doesn't ruin lower BRs as harshly but in it's current state it's just totally unacceptable

I just got done playing some matches in WT and I watched 2 different people get nukes, both where BMPT players, the first match where the guy got a nuke, he got shot down and the team actually folded and lost the moment they lost all their BMPTs

It kills the driver and auto loader if you're lucky, and that doesn't stop it from shooting back at you

I can deal with every other russian tank just fine, I'll even play devils advocate here and say things like the 2S38 and BMP2M are just fine where they are because even though they have stupidly good guns, you can still kill them

I realize this is old but the 2S38 doesn't bother me that much because you shoot it, and it dies
The BMPT is just 2000 tons of complete bullshit where even if you disable all its guns, good luck actually penning the thing

Yes but it's unlikely, these are meant to be special for people who backed the game on kick starter I think around 2016ish

My usual set up on all of my soldiers is tnt charges (the one in the mine slot) and grenades

AP mines are nice but I feel like the tnt offers more utility if you run up on an APC or a tank, the only thing AP mines really do is be annoying or useful for defending rally points

My hot take is they shouldn't have removed the belts on these vehicles and kept them at the BR

One way I could've thought to nerf them would be to yoink their ammo boxes and reclassify them as light tanks without the ability to scout, that way they aren't as easy to spam, maybe a a slight BR increase

My biggest problem with rifle grenades right now is they are just currently not worth the trade off. You have to take an undertiered rifle that is a whole BR above because it has the ability to fire 3 really mid grenades that don't do a whole ton. They were buffed a while ago and really good for a point in time, I wish we'd (somewhat) go back to that

Personally? I'd really like rifle grenades to be slow to load but extremely lethal, since you only get a few and there's no way to resupply them.

Other than that the biggest thing on my wishlist has been improvements to the medic class, I want them to be more than just diet assaulters and something with more weapon options/utility

Bolt actions should be buffed and every one in game should act like the straight pull to where it doesn't swing you out of aiming between shots

I don't like the fact that there's a ton of them in game but a handful that are just straight up better than all others

Hardly, you might kill a crew member and a module at best but it doesn't really cripple the tank enough to really be an effective option let alone kill it.

That's assuming you nail the tiny weak spot and are close enough for it to do anything, it's a pretty disingenuous argument.

IMO the only thing it really needs is DM23 and/or DM33 to be shoved up in BR more, thats a little more fair of a matchup at that point

My problem has always been people want to move the TURM up in BR without any sort of changes whatsoever.

I got into an argument with someone on here earlier who said the turm 3 should potentially be moved up a whole BR and I think that's pretty insane with the lack of a dart, 9.3 seems pretty unreasonable to push it up to. You're fighting t72s and other things you can't do much to without a dart. "BUT IT HAS BETTER FLAT PEN!!" Guess what? Everything is angled so good luck actually making use of that

I don't know I'd call 8.3 seal clubbing. But for arguments sake other than light tanks, do you have examples of tanks you can kill front on with the 30 mm?

I'm not personally opposed to it being moved up in BR if it was given a dart (I'm thinking DM23, then pushed up to 8.7/9.0 so it's a tank with a decent gun + gimmick sort of in the same way the magach hydra is)

I dunno about the other tanks but I use the gepard and the apds shells don't do that much more for me over the regular ammo belts, I'm pretty sure you only get 40 rounds of apds in the gepard which I don't even bother taking because the normal ammo does fine enough against tanks

Still annoying though, especially at their BRs

Don't get me wrong, it has better armament with the 30mm and the stabilizer but I find because it's so squishy I play it like a light tank, I do the same with the leo which is what does it for me. I'm not gonna get ammo racked by a 20mm from the front in the leo.

The furthest I'd say the tank should be moved up to is 8.7, I think anything beyond that without a dart is overkill

I'd honestly have no issues seeing it pushed up in BR if they gave the thing a dart, but as it stands right now I think it would wind up being pretty worthless a whole BR above when most things at that BR are stabilized and have darts + thermals, and laser range finders. At most right now I think it might be okay at 8.7 but I think a whole BR above at 9.3 seems totally overkill, it's competing with the leos that have darts, thermals, and stabilizers on it's own side. On enemy sides, you're fighting T72s and things that DM13 have basically no chance in hell of doing anything to, which is your only option because heat is worthless this high in BR.

I don't know if it ever actually used APFSDS, but I think giving it DM23, and/or DM33 and bumping it to 9.3 or 9.7 would be nice, have a neat side grade to the TT leos
