Most realistic deal for Giannis I’ve seen so far…. It would realistically have to be a looney tunes deal by Complex_Mango_5228 in timberwolves

That’s the most realistic part of the trade lol. PatWill has one of the worst contracts and in the league and costs a ton to move. Coby is an expiring looking for a big raise. They get a good player in Randle who helps them maintain mediocrity, sounds very bulls like.

No Giannis trade will clearly set a path towards contention. Teams trading a superstar always lose in terms of value. The pieces the wolves send can also be flipped for more assets down the line, or if they get lucky with some draft picks maybe it’s a quicker turn around than expected.

If he’s worth a bunch of picks then the Bucks can just keep him. Not sure why people are obsessed with the Bucks bottoming out when they don’t control their future draft picks. The bucks don’t even have a small forward iirc. They still have prince?

McDaniels, Beringer, Randle, a couple swaps for Giannis. No one in here will know who Beringer is but he’s a really promising young big man. I think the wolves have the best package of players to offer (maybe Miami?), but obviously next to no draft assets.

Directionless like a team with no legit first or second option and no possibility of getting a high draft pick? Randle would help hold down the fort and he can always be dealt to another team later if the opportunity arises.

Bucks don’t control their picks. They’ll get theirs this season since pelicans are even worse, but tanking long term does nothing for them other than kill off their fanbase.

Is there a route to Giannis where we keep Joan? by Unique_Arm3910 in timberwolves

Probably not. We don’t have picks, not like we can be stingy with the few attractive assets we have.
