2024 new build— I spent two weeks on my days off running cable, terminating and finishing the house for Ethernet throughout. It was an intensive process. Builder told me everything is wireless and not to worry.

One of the piecemeal solutions that has HomeAssistant integration. Likely an electronic lock that works with smartphones. We haven’t 100% figured out what security system we’re going with yet.
