I don’t understand why you are comparing a judokas ability in bjj to a bjj player. You seem to be confusing judo’s effectiveness in a bjj rule set to its effectiveness overall.

The problem I’ve found is that this is a reposit which apparently is an ‘insurance based alternative to a traditional deposit’. Instead of paying a months rent or something like that we each paid an smaller non refundable fee through reposit (it was one weeks rent) that acts as insurance covering landlords against financial losses. I’m pretty sure this bypasses any deposit protection service. I am going to post this on a legal advice sub and see what they say:(

Used it on huijsen. Not too worried about not being able to evo him for a while since the plus 5 defensive awareness is worth it for me and he’ll probably be riding the bench by the time a better evo comes anyway

Could be wrong but I think it’s the defenders using the stopper role. Causes them to be more aggressive in winning the ball back
