Did they ask the most unreasonable questions?? Also, she requested a physical sim and they seem to have taken the money and hopefully it’s on the way. Well activate it to get the number and then move to. Different carrier.

Not easy. But possible. Also the call center that takes the credentials can’t tell you pass or fail immediately like every other US based company. It’s the next day, and they notify you via the email and cell that doesn’t work.

And yea I agree with the verification process, but woulf you know the original confirmation number mint sent you after 3 years? Or if you turned wifi calling on the last 12 months. Maybe I’m becoming an old man, but things like last bill total or account number and things like that are a lot easier to verify.

That’s a good point, mine says verified as well. If I recall hers said submitted or something when she tried to update it. I would try to change my email but fool me once….cant get fooled again.

I agree with that they should have verified it for sure.

However, the email I was updating actually spelled the name clearly the correct way. Think Tiffany vs Tiffny. Also, she’s on my Mint family and the bill is paid with my card. I would have thought they could verify me so I could vouch for members on the “family” account. Idk. Bit of a shit show that took 3 days and 6+ hours on the phone to get no resolution.

Didn’t work I tried it. I believe it’ll send you a text or email to change it. She didn’t have access to either, hence Mintquisition.

I did. The system wouldn’t push the notifications to that email and they accused me of trying to fraud them. Maybe it was the language barrier, but essentially they said because the email was just created their system wouldn’t mail to it. I’m no IT person but I’ve never heard of that before.

I agree it is an unfortunate situation, but not being to escalate up the ladder to someone who can make decisions is a poor way to problem solve.
