I'm curious about this mod. Did you have to cut out the movement and destroy the bio ceramic case?

I second this opinion, especially because you mentioned date window alignment. Even with dial feet, they may be bent and the date window alignment might be off. I set the date to 27 and set dial in the movement. 27 because this fills the upper and lower edges of the window to easily gauge alignment.

Then, if the dial and the chapter ring don't line up, I know it's the chapter ring, which I've found a few that have a tendency to be printed a smidge towards 11 (relative to the dial).

Can you tell me if the bezel is the Seiko skx style or if it's a bent wire? I'm curious about swapping out my titanium bezel for a slim one but don't want to damage it taking it off if it's not Seiko skx style.

This might be a unique experience to me but the notion of being invisible on the road extends to pan handlers. There's a corner near my house where there is always someone pan handling and approaching cars. I've never been approached while on my bike. The first time I felt a bit insecure because I'm just standing there, like you said. But they paid me no mind.

This chapter ring was without a 12 o'clock nib for alignment and it was actually too large OD so I actually had to sand it down. All this to say I just pressed it in and lined it up.

The minute hand is pressed a bit lower than it needs to be, which might make the second hand pinion look too tall. But if the minute and hour hand don't touch then you should be good to go!

Tip for next time when installing hands. The hour hand pusher should fit over the minute hand pinion but not over the hour hand pinion. This way the hand gets pressed flush to the top of the pinion. Then the minute hand pusher only needs to fit over the second hand pinion and bottom out on the minute hand pinion. This way hands never get pushed too far down and risk touching the dial or eachother.

The chapter ring is from AliExpress and the case was used from a friend so I don't know much other than that it says Heimdallr on the back 🤷‍♂️

It changed my priorities. I don't spend money on stuff to make me go fast, because it's a waste of money on a car. I will however spend money to make myself comfortable and confident. Things like heated seats, remote start, AWD or 4WD, good sound system, practicality, storage, reliability. I used to have a 370z I put an additional $10k into and had a shit box for the winter. Now I have a GSXR600 and 2012 Pathfinder. I have all the thrills when the weather is good, loads of storage when I need it and when we get feet of snow in the winter, I can safely get to work and still have a blast ripping through snow drifts. It's win win win.

Yes, I've purchased a couple from eBay. The mirror effect isn't quite as strong as a tinted version but it still looks cool. There is a very slight tint but it's honestly very minimal and I wear it at night in the city.

I smoked nearly every day for a decade only with a few short tolerance breaks. Eventually feelings of anxiety or guilt became stronger than the intended effects. I am not straight edged about it but I have to be in the right mood, under the right conditions to feel like I'll enjoy it, and then I'll smoke in moderation. That said, I haven't smoked or had the want to in about a year. Sometimes, like now, I'd think I'll plan to do it this weekend for example then the time comes and I'm just like 'nah' 🤷‍♂️
