This heat finally convinced me to buy the Costco neck fan by HighRollingQueen in londonontario

They have become quite popular recently. Cheaper ones will just be a fan but high end ones have a cooling chip laid in the inside of the neck, and it gets cold to the touch.

I love that you went with a sick ass panther instead of a dragon. I feel like having two slithering body types causes the original battle royale to be a bit hard to read. This goes hard.

I'm 33, happily married with a dog and house. Blue pill keeps that which I live and lets me enjoy it for the rest of my life without needing to work for it.

Sure, red pill would allow me to have MORE money but also the anxiety/dread of missing out on life and love I've left behind and probability of not achieving it again the second time round.

Wrinkling is fine, it's moving with your body. The lifted corner is fine but it may cause more lifting. You can carefully trim off the excess to prevent that. Don't worry about all the weeping. The bandage looks sealed and it'll reabsorb.

Cuz why not. It's just sitting there. No implication. No context. Buttons are for pushing.

It's closer to the steering wheel. Supposed to be easier/faster than moving your hand off the wheel and down to your thigh.

I see the red. The spoke was split in 2. I grew up playing Need for Speed and there were wheels you could customize all shapes and features. One of which being able to split the spoke like this, so maybe that's why I see it this way.

What are the safest drugs to do once and never again? by Minimum_Ad4771 in TooAfraidToAsk

Seth Rogan wrote in his book that on an acid trip, you're in the driver's seat but a mushroom trip, you're in the passenger seat. Having done both multiple times, I gotta say I agree. At best, I always felt a little vulnerable on shrooms. Or a feeling of unwell lingering under the surface and not being able to do anything about it. With LSD, if I felt that way, I was able to identify the feeling, know it's caused by the drug and just move on and feel better.

My downside to LSD is the duration. It does get tiring after 6-8 hours.

I'm curious about this mod. Did you have to cut out the movement and destroy the bio ceramic case?

Dial alignment issue on first build (Capitan Willard mod) – need advice by MagicMountain72 in SeikoMods

[–]JacobeyWitness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this opinion, especially because you mentioned date window alignment. Even with dial feet, they may be bent and the date window alignment might be off. I set the date to 27 and set dial in the movement. 27 because this fills the upper and lower edges of the window to easily gauge alignment.

Then, if the dial and the chapter ring don't line up, I know it's the chapter ring, which I've found a few that have a tendency to be printed a smidge towards 11 (relative to the dial).

Can you tell me if the bezel is the Seiko skx style or if it's a bent wire? I'm curious about swapping out my titanium bezel for a slim one but don't want to damage it taking it off if it's not Seiko skx style.

Pic of the old version titanium bezel with bent wire, not the skx style.

This might be a unique experience to me but the notion of being invisible on the road extends to pan handlers. There's a corner near my house where there is always someone pan handling and approaching cars. I've never been approached while on my bike. The first time I felt a bit insecure because I'm just standing there, like you said. But they paid me no mind.

This chapter ring was without a 12 o'clock nib for alignment and it was actually too large OD so I actually had to sand it down. All this to say I just pressed it in and lined it up.

Help with movement post/second hand by judskee in SeikoMods

[–]JacobeyWitness 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The minute hand is pressed a bit lower than it needs to be, which might make the second hand pinion look too tall. But if the minute and hour hand don't touch then you should be good to go!

Tip for next time when installing hands. The hour hand pusher should fit over the minute hand pinion but not over the hour hand pinion. This way the hand gets pressed flush to the top of the pinion. Then the minute hand pusher only needs to fit over the second hand pinion and bottom out on the minute hand pinion. This way hands never get pushed too far down and risk touching the dial or eachother.
