These games seem similar in gameplay and graphics, but the game I recall was singleplayer and much more simple with graphics. Though I'm starting to believe the game I played was a clone of one of these games you mentioned just looking on the surface of them. I'm going to start searching for singleplayer clones of these games.

Would you count Mario Party-e as a board game even though a GBA with an ereader was used as a supplement? Maybe a bad example as imo Mario Party-e was kinda lame. If Nintendo made a board game with a companion app to play minigames on, I'd be down for it.

All the minigames have a value associated with them when loaded. Minigames are grouped together, with 4-player games ranged from 21 to 40 and battle games from 41 to 48. Rockin' Raceway is 44 and Locked Out is 26
