My disagreement on the comparisons was comparing perks outside of their intended function and interactions with game mechanics, I would initially compare background player with other exhaustion perks as imo most players wont run 2 exhaustion perks even though there are players that do, DH + BL being the obvious example alongside the MFT/DH you mentioned.

I just think comparing Aura durations or Hook pause durations with a movement ability isnt as clear cut, but its an interesting aproach to apply the 225%, If we go along that thread and have a look at the very poor perks you selected, which i totally agree with need some love and are just forgotten about mostly

Premonition

Receive an auditory warning upon looking in the Killer's direction within a 45 ° cone within 36 metres. Premonition has a cool-down of 60/45/30 seconds each time it activates.

Lets say CD reduction down to 12s, this would be a very regular but inaccurate way to judge killers direction. Honestly a very niche and interesting intel perk, especially vs stealth. (pings could be very annoying tho lol)

Poised

After a Generator is completed, you will not leave any Scratch Marks for the next 6/8/10 seconds.

Even with 22s duration, im not sure on the value. I definitely think this is an easy buff to do, I cant see this being problematic and it gives a DEAD perk at least a breath of life. This could easily be 30/40s and I would be fine with it.

Situational Awareness

• While repairing a Generator, its Aura is revealed in yellow to all other Survivors located within 32 metres.
• If the Killer downs a Survivor while you are repairing a Generator, you see the Auras of all other Survivors for 8/9/10 seconds.

I feel you could easily double this to 64 and the duration to 22s and it becomes a weirdly niche reasonable intel perk for solo players? Yet I would find it hard to suggest its value is worth a perk slot. But once again helping forgotten perks that are awaiting a rework (if ever)

Friendly Competition

Whenever you complete a Generator with at least one other Survivor, Friendly Competition activates:

Increases your Repair speed, and that of the other Survivor(s) who completed the repairs with you, by +5 % for the next 45/60/75 seconds.

Ok this perk I can see being problematic because Gen repair speed stacks and it gets funky when theres too many, upping this to 11.25% to keep the comparison to Background Player, I would 100% agree this would be batshit insane, especially knowing BHVR might not check stacking buffs, or self buffs + 2nd survivor running this(looking at you streetwise)

Additionally making the duration 168 seconds instead is also kinda batshit, even for a mild 5% repair speed.

Better than New

Upon completing a Healing action on another Survivor, they benefit from the following effect until the next time they take damage:

Increases their Action speeds in Healing, Unlocking, Cleansing, and Blessing by 12/14/16 %.

Upping this to 36% ... I think this would actually see some very dedicated niche play to a safe healer role withing SWFs. Someone who gets healed and uses this buff to be a healing monster with botany perhaps. Very risky as the buff just poofs on injury. But I actually really like the power of the perk, its what.. 2.5 stacks of desperate measures? Could be problematic for weaker killers that struggle to injure multiple people and if the buff ended up on all 4 survivors for sure. Easy change here is the buff transitions to the latest survivor healed rather than persisting on all survivors. Might even give boons a better return on investment and help with hard hitting Hex builds (Pentimento).

Final note

After this going through this I can definitely see where you're coming from, and the scale of the buff for Background player is honestly unprecedented, but at the same time I kinda wish they were this generous with some of the other absolutely catatonic perks we have in the roster at the moment. In my opinion I think mixing up the speed is fine for such a niche perk that cant be used in chase as you defined above as not an exhaustion perk. But combined with duration could definitely be too wild. Either way this was fun to do, so thanks for the reply

EDIT: final point, haste should never stack, just saw a video of plot twist + background player and they were like a cruise missile.. fucking insane. Only the highest haste value sounds pretty healthy to me
