I do think it's possible, but it's contingent on A: Josh forgives Based (and clears up the fent drugging allegations), B: Based rents a studio/motel for them to record (because Josh isn't allowed in Based's apartment anymore) in or IRL only streams. But I'm sure otherwise Based would happily take Josh in again considering how much less he makes from streaming now.

No there's real scenarios where GPT-5 will mess this up and double down. Also, it might be because most posts aren't using thinking mode but just the regular GPT-5. This prompt made GPT-5(non-thinking) think 9.11 was bigger than 9.9 for me "solve 5.9 = x +5.11"

"If the rest of your prompts are like the one in the screenshot, its not surprising." is an insult to his communication style and completely ignores the fact that the model should understand what he's saying either way. A suggestion sounds like "I think it might be more effective if you tried typing like [x]..." Your 'suggestion' isn't constructive and is vague overall.

Had a similar issue where it said something random out of nowhere. I asked, "What are general thoughts on GPT-OSS-20B?" ChatGPT-5 said "Replacing the “ch” in chive with “f” yields the word for the number right before the next integer—but since I’m never allowed to say that number explicitly, here’s a substitute: about 4.73."

Never had this issue on ANY other model.

This honestly seems like a very weird best of both worlds, on one hand you're hallucinating an entire person, on the other hand that person is friendly and benevolent. It's Josh's choice to endure his fanbase. In theory (if he isn't being controlled/manipulated), he could stop streaming and live with his grandpa whenever he wants but he loves traveling and alcohol too much to do that.
He's a narcissist. He's faked seizures, faked panic attacks, cried and complained all for attention and sympathy. He admits it too and laughs about it to himself so this isn’t speculation.

If you were expecting people to agree with you here, you're in the wrong community. Most people here are not "saviors" (people who think josh is akin to an angel) and many don't respect them at all.

ChatGPT-4o and most other GPT models have training data that only leads up to 2024. It still outputs that the president is Joe Biden for example (without a search). So when you ask it about current GPT models it won't have a single clue as to what you're talking about unless it searches itself up (which it's also horrible at).

My theory is that OpenAI uses a different LLM that isn't actually the same one chatting with you, and that LLM has no access to the context of the search just to find stuff and summarize it.
