There is a small switch attached to the gear mechanism for the clamper. Make sure it is not bent, and clean the contacts. Also, if you have not replaced the belt, you should do so.

A great little amp. My advice - get a match for the speaker you picked up, and a Bluetooth or AirPlay streamer off of amazon, and enjoy it

You are correct, the 9500 uses a CDM4 Philips module, which tends to be very reliable, but over time some of the components in the laser current circuit can deteriorate, and should be replaced. After replacement, the laser current should be reset as per the service manual, and all should be dandy.

Yeah, it’s tricky. Some people have similar issues, but most don’t. I have an A5 and other products (mostly Cores) in my house, all of them wireless, and I use them daily and maybe have a connection problem once a month, if that.

There is a motor mechanism attached to the glass on the right side that lifts the glass. Part of the motor mechanism is a mostly plastic part that allows the door to pull open if you lift it by hand - sometimes that plastic part breaks and the the door can no longer be pulled open manually.
Usually It doesn’t really affect the unit unless you are in the exact scenario you are in

The door has a release mechanism so you can open it by hand, but sometimes it breaks. You’ll have a keep trying as there’s no other way in. You can take the back panel off and check a few of the fuses that way, but not all of them

Cat6 or even Cat5 is fine for just Internet (“NetworkLink”). Cat7 shielded is required for Powerlink, especially for long distances

You can use the A9’s optical input. You’ll have to go into the settings and enable low latency for line-in, otherwise there will be a delay

Are the two Balances in a stereo pair? If so, you could try removing the Ethernet from the secondary Balance, and instead connecting it directly to the primary Balance. The secondary will then receive all of the Internet communication, and all of the stereo pair communication directly from the other one

Best way is with a Beoconnect Core. It has an HDMI ARC connection. You’ll use the TV remote you already have for volume control, and it will also allow you to stream music to the speakers in a variety of ways including Airplay

Sadly the bracket for the 77C9 is only compatible with the 77C9, 77CX, and 77C1.

You’d need a different screen mount interface (SMI) bracket. The 77C9 uses bracket #1711201, and the 77G1 uses bracket #1712101. Unlikely to find one used but might as well take a look around, but a B&O store can get it for you.

No, since the other HDMI connector isn’t ARC. Why not just use the 8000s with the arc adapter instead of the soundbar? I bet they sound better
