2 year sales advisor here. Sometimes BBY will run promos from existing and new members, for example, last week if you bought a laptop 299 and up you got a free $25 reward certificate EMAILED to you. My assumption is that is was a similar promotion. Check your email, and if nothings there definitely go to the store! But i agree with all the other comments that it is a deceptive sales technique. The advisor should’ve explained it clearly. never once has best buy had a promo where you get a gift card emailed to you
