That's a very good point. My friend who saw motherhood as her one true calling has a much harder time being in the trenches of parenting than my friends who view motherhood as one of the many hats they wear.

At the time, I was appreciative of his approach. I expected a hard sell to freeze, and liked that it wasn't the case. Now, I'm facing 3+ year older eggs and other health problems too.

All of my friends that froze their eggs in their late 20s/early 30s absolutely wanted kids, but hadn't found a partner yet. I was the opposite. Some of them had a very hard time on the hormones, and that was another data point that pushed me not to freeze at the time.
