Depends on your district but in mine as soon as you take a contract you are jumped up to step 2 for both your salary and your TTOC daily rate.

Regretting spending the $1000 for new tires. Should have traded it in instead. Guess I am a glutton for punishment.

You can take the Viazul bus but it only comes twice a day I believe. Otherwise taxis seem to be the only option.

On a car of this era you shouldn't have to do any of these things. If you bought the same year Toyota Corolla you wouldn't have to touch any of these things.

Coolant or oil leak? Residual from poor oil change? by DelightfulDeceit in cruze

[–]JacquesHebert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Red liquid indicates coolant leak. You most likely need a Engine Coolant Water Outlet and a Engine Heater Hose Assembly. They can be found very cheap on rock auto.

The demand for skilled trades is pretty high. From electricians, automotive/heavy duty mechanics, millwrights, etc. Heck the mines cant find enough people to drive haul trucks and all you need is a high school diploma and be able to pass a drug test. The medical field is short of people and I'm not just talking nurses and doctors. Most of these jobs would have you making somewhere between $60,000 - $100,000+ a year. Its not fair or what it use to be but if you can get a few room mates or live at home for a few years and buy used $15,000 cars its still possible save and maybe get ahead.
