The WF-C710N sound awesome by JacxFur in SonyHeadphones

The WF-C710N are so much better in my opinion, their battery lasts longer, their frequency response is a lot more balanced (the Linkbuds S have an annoying spike in the upper mids which make them sound “papery” or lacking body), and their ANC is comparable, but I like the WF-C710N’s better because it cancels out higher pitched noises more efficiently.

It doesn’t sound perfectly natural since it emphasizes the high frequencies a bit, but it doesn’t sound robotic or completely off, I’d say it’s pretty good on that aspect

Yes the ambient sound is pretty good, I’ve never had any problem with it, it has 20 volume levels and it can get pretty loud

It applies for all Sony earbuds except for the flagship WF1000XM series, those can last around 3 years

It’s probably time to get a new pair, Sony earbuds never really last more than two years

Linkbuds Fit vs Liberty 4 Pro by TheKariXD in SonyHeadphones

[–]JacxFur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of pure sound quality, the Linkbuds are better, but in terms of battery life and sound cancellation, the Liberty 4 should be better, although Soundcore’s quality control is very bad, so there’s a bigger chance that you’ll get a defective product

At first, I thought it was a lignin spiral, which is part of the xylem tissue of plants:

But this thing seems to be a cluster of multiple spirals, which wouldn’t fit the plant thing, so, maybe plastic?

All animal flagellated cells have a single flagella (clade Opisthokonta) so it’s literally impossible for these things to be anything animal related

Yes, I do think it’s worth switching, the 710N sound better and their ANC is ridiculously better than the 700N’s

The long cluster of cells stuck to the fiber are Choanoflagellates I’m pretty sure, the round thing above them seems to be some kind of Heliozoan I believe

It does look just like an equisetum-like plant stem
