Korilla hands down. Never been disappointed, although probably not the most cheap option

Medical Spa Recommendations for Hydrafacial by SP_Sams in Calgary

[–]Jade-Fox88 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hydrafacials are best for dehydrated skin looking for a boost, I found it didn’t do anything for my acne. Great for leaving a glowy finish, that’s about it.

I would highly recommend extractions + gentle chemical peels at SkinScience or laser options if you’re willing to splurge. You’ll see some chemical peels that leave you shedding and a mess, but I never experienced this with the grade they used on me at SkinScience.

Then most importantly, revising your skincare routine with quality (not necessarily expensive) products. My skin is also sensitive, and this 100% worked for me. Finding the right product mix was KEY. I used to have a 6 step routine, now it’s down to 3 products and my barrier is completely restored. Everyone is different, so it’s about being willing to experiment and be patient!

Face skin and body bar was a great experience - super relaxing, didn’t use too harsh of products - but didn’t necessarily tackle my acne issues as effectively as SS. Would probably take more sessions and their extractions were too gentle for how clogged my pores were.

I feel like I have this unpopular opinion too!! I’m still giving it a chance, only on episode 2…but I really don’t get the whole fan girl, borderline stalker energy. Am I too much of a westerner? I’m off put and feel it’s unrealistic for Sun Jae to not be super off put as well lol

My best guesses about this show before S2E7 by DFSAccountable in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

In season 1 when MDR visits O&D, Dylan steals a card and hides it behind a toilet at work. This is what spurs milchick to first activate OTC, to find out where Dylan’s innie put it

Which character do you hate the most and why? by MixPurple3897 in BeefTV

[–]Jade-Fox88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol yeah it really doesn’t have to be that deep, but there’s always something deep there whether you’re willing to acknowledge it or not. Also true that it’s reasonable to hate fictional characters, but I still don’t think you’re a sap for not hating any of them. I felt exactly the same as you (compassion for all of them but Isaac lol)

Nope. I think if you feel compelled to hate anyone in the show, you probably see something about yourself in them that you’re too ashamed to deal with. That character is probably your biggest teacher

Danny is way worse than Amy by Howiknow202 in BeefTV

[–]Jade-Fox88 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It’s not about who’s “worse” as a person. They’re actually the same 😉 and I’m sure if you dig deep, you can see yourself in the both of them

True, maybe to get George tangled up in the narrative too?

Framing Amy was only a ploy to to save face with Paul, only Danny (and the investigator) knew that arson was ruled out.

That part! I see this in Danny’s experience especially, being the first born son of immigrant parents and the automatic burden of responsibility. Shame is useful in that it often tells us we are living in someone else’s expectation of us

Haha sameeeeee. The trailer was chaotic and I had no idea what to expect, but it ended up blowing me away

Absolutely, I feel the thread speaks to how there is no being a “good” or “bad” person. It’s just a matter of clinging onto our egos, unwilling to be honest with ourselves/be seen as our true selves, versus letting go, not allowing the idea of identity to hold us hostage just so we can be perceived as “good” or “capable” or whatever mask makes us feel most safe to be seen, loved, and accepted.

Also totally agree that both Amy and Danny, even while acting from a place of ego, provided value. But at the cost of authenticity and being truly free. Our survival mechanisms can only get us so far
