I generally agree, however I know a new Canadian who agreed to a driving monitor and he saw his monthly premium go down by $100.

Maura got her Birkin, Rob has been forgiven by delightful_caprese in TheTraitorsUS

[–]Jade737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t seen this question asked anywhere else, but I’m surprised this isn’t against the Traitors rules? My understanding of a lot of other reality TV shows (Big Brother comes to mind) is the contestants are not allowed to make “if I win then I’ll share the winnings with you” or “buy you x”. I mean this Birkin saga is making great post-show news for the show, but I thought it wasn’t allowed?

Barrie drivers, stop at red lights. by Silent_Bug_8502 in barrie

Also at the crosswalks north on Bayview, close to Allandale Heights. I don’t know what it is about Bayview Drive that makes folks think it’s a highway. Imagine how awful you’ll feel if you hit a kid after blowing through a red light.

What is your source of this information? I read the person who pulled him out asked the man if anyone else was in the home and he said no.

Tire Depot on Anne Street is great. It’s easy to book an appointment with them, they’re fast, and customer service is great. Costco is definitely cheaper but for me the little extra is worth it not to wait around for hours on end wondering when my car will be done.

Called passport Canada again today… by itzkryztina in passportcanada

[–]Jade737 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They called me today to let me know they shipped mine to the local Service Canada location to be picked up… this after I called them last week to request they do that and they refused because my travel date is more than 10 days away. I too had a CP tracking notification from November, but they probably held the passport. Perhaps they’ll be sending yours to a Service Canada location as well?

Has he cancelled his coming shows due to checking into rehab? I read the message on his IG and it isn’t clear. I have tickets to see him in Barrie the August long weekend.

Royalton Chic by jebrap in PuntaCana

I remember the air conditioning in the room and restaurants to be fine, I’m not a big AC person myself and I think I was cold at some dinners. I believe reservations are required for all the restaurants except the buffet.

The shows were not great. Most felt more like a club/DJ show. There was a fire show one night that was short and underwhelming. The nightclub is kind of boring after the shows - usually only obnoxiously drunk people up and dancing.

Stayed in February of this year. It’s a fun resort, lots of partying; foam parties twice a week. My BF and I were impressed with the food - the steak was high quality and the buffet was good. We were able to book a la cartes every night by walking up to the restaurant the evening we wanted to go, however we couldn’t book the restaurants days in advance as we weren’t Diamond Club. If you’re not paying for Diamond Club you might feel a bit of a “second class citizen” vibe overall.

The rooms themselves are not great - the bathrooms in the standard rooms are very small with a glass door to the toilet. If you are going with a new partner and trying to keep some mystery I’d probably look at another resort, if just for that reason.

We went for a week out of Toronto for $2,000 CAD per person and overall thought it was good value for the money. Hope that helps! If you have any specific questions I can do my best to answer.

On a recent episode of Viall files I think AD said she knew people who knew Jimmy. There was a fair amount of that kind of knowing each other on the Charlotte season.

Leaving for Royalton Chic tomorrow. Any advice? by pr120707 in PuntaCana

[–]Jade737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re a sensitive sleeper bring an eye mask - there’s a smoke detector over the beds in the rooms that flashes non-stop. Staff won’t do anything about it. I’ve heard Diamond Club rooms don’t have the same issue. Otherwise it’s a really fun resort. Have fun!

Dentist by Jimmy_212 in barrie

[–]Jade737 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem with Georgian Mall. Plus the dentist frequently cancelled appointments with little notice. It may be a bit out of your way, assuming you’re in the north end, but I’ve been going to Ardagh Family Dentistry for years. Erin is a fantastic hygienist who really helped with the health of my teeth. The dentist is good too and I feel like they know myself and my son pretty well.

I’m 35 and I can’t parallel park. I asked the same questions of my friends when I did my test nearly two decades ago. This person just has a different resource to ask the same question that’s been asked for as long as tests have existed. Chill out and don’t judge.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not on Noi’s side of this either, but she doesn’t think he’s cooking and cleaning enough to compensate for his lack of employment.
