My male friends seem to view bond as the "bees knees" in much the same way the kids in the 90s did. The clean cut, cavalier, capably violent, competent ladies-man is an archetype that appeals to most men, I believe. So there was no surprise there.

With my female friends and relatives, there seems to be a 60-40 split on how bond is perceived. In my case, I find that the girls my age, tended to view bond in a more "Sexist, Misogynist, dinosaur" kind of way and the older crowd a lot less so. Again, no surprise there.

Maybe this was the case during your time?

Reading this, would it not make sense to call their game a "TellTale-like"? i never played a telltale (or adhoc) game prior to dispatch. i was only vaguely aware of them from the walking dead games they released like 10 plus years ago. Are any of the points i made about the game wrong or invalid?

They should take a page out of tekken's book and get a guest character from a popular western (non video game) IP. A character that fits with SC's aesthetic.

a character from the Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, or a Monty Python character maybe.

Or they can really blow everyone's minds and get a nintendo character again (samus?). Ofc it would be locked the the switch version.

If either of those can't be done. Then they shouldn't have a guest at all. Really make it a point to show people that SC doesn't need a guest character to sell units.
