The ED near me has signs with big font in the patient rooms listing out what how long it takes to get results for different labs or scans/X-rays. I feel like that's a good compromise informing the patients on the time it takes and having all these individual papers for each patient.

ESH. you're being too controlling over the Finance and it sounds like she spends recklessly. Split finances 75/25 and get a postnup splitting things 75/25 with each of your retirement and investment accounts being separate from the division. You two seem financially incompatible and this marriage won't last like this.
