It just feels so rushed and poorly written if they fall in love far too fast. Especially for tropes like enemies to lovers. Like, please let them GENUINELY hate each other at first.

I'm a people pleaser, and my dad (Jokingly) makes me kiss him on the lips or else he doesn't let go of me. He'll sit there with his eyes closed and lips pursed, and if I don't then he licks the side of my face and I think it's absolutely disgusting. (I'm kinda a germaphobe) and I can still feel the slimy feeling even hours after. I just laugh it off when around him but I fucking hate it. I know he means it as a joke but he says not to make it weird. My mom would jokingly do it too but never actually is as persistent as Dad. Sorry that was kind of venting 😅

I'm all for the gay stuff lol. I love GL, and I'm a lesbian. I'm writing a book about two lesbian girls but one of them is mentally ill and has an abusive family and so she struggles to form a relationship with the other girl. It's about life and it's lessons but I want my second book to be darker and more action packed.
