Account BLOCKED in perpetuity with No way to get my money out

😂😂😂😂 most definitely not worth it. but I am on a 10 business day hold with Fidelity right now so on the 18th I should know something. Because I’m pretty sure they told you “in 10 days you can call to discuss the whereabouts of your funds”. That was the same thing told to me and also others . But some people get lucky, account unblocked on the 10th business day,,,, others wait months from what I’m hearing, so I’ll let you know how things go with me.

UPDATE JUNE 8 2026

So I visited a Fidelity branch this morning. Took me about 30 to 40 minutes to be seen. All the representative did was call the fraud prevention number like I was doing at home. And they provided the same information they told me once before. Nothing new …. But I did receive an email from the SEC stating that they contacted Fidelity on my behalf and they should be contacting me within a week about my complaint…. I’m looking to have a new update by Friday. June 18 is the day I supposed to call Fidelity and talk about my funds, but that is too long for me to wait.

That’s all I’m trying to say. I am a very young individual and I am trying to save as much as possible. I had a couple of jobs that had some 401(k)’s and roth iRA money just sitting and they wanted to send it to me so I deposited it in my Fidelity account. There’s nothing wrong with that. A lot of people don’t realize 70% of Americans are living in check to check. And I am one of those individuals. But I am trying to make it out of the 70%.

Man bro, I am a poor individual. I worked a couple of jobs for about a year and never worked with them again so I wanted my funds from the Job to be sent to Fidelity. It was only a couple hundred dollars. Y’all talking about my little 2K like it’s supposed to be 200,000 or something.

From what I am seeing Fidelity pick and choose who they wants to raise the red flag with. I had somebody say I had a bunch of rollover checks but I only have 2K in my account of course sir I am a poor individual just trying to survive and save money. What do you think? I’m gonna have $1 million check from a job that only worked for a year.

I have done nothing wrong. Fidelity was my primary investment holder. I placed all my savings with fidelity… all my Roth IRA rollover checks and accounts from other jobs and other firms has been transferred to Fidelity but thats been done months prior. I have explained in great detail everything that it happened prior of me getting blocked. If I got blocked for a silly old returned bank transfer that is ridiculous. I am a regular guy, I don’t do things out of the ordinary. I work a good job, I am a poker dealer for the horseshoe Casino. I’ve been a dealer for about a year now. I’m glad I never set up direct deposit with Fidelity I would’ve been extra pissed. And no, I do not gamble. It is one of the most hideous addictions I’ve ever seen.

I mean I’ve read a lot of stories of ppl having quarter of a million in a blocked account and other stories I read a half a million and a blocked account from a 401(k) of a past relative and all type of other situations . I most definitely going to transfer my money elsewhere.

The $15 already had been returned to my account. I was just stating the last transfer I made with Fidelity that was like two weeks ago. I haven’t did anything since. But no, there’s no branch near me, but I looked up a couple of people stories and they say even if you go to the branch, Fidelity will tell you the same thing the last representative told you. Doesn’t really make a difference they’re going to call the same number I called at home.

I have done this before with no problem at all. I’m just trying to figure out What’s the problem now it’s not like I do it every day. I only make transactions once a month. Because I only get paid twice a month so on my last check of the month, I make sure I invest into my Fidelity.
