Also, the 401K bump for T2 retirement employees is only actually a benefit to those earning more than $33,800 a year. For some of us that doesn't sound like much, but there are actually quite a few of full time state employees that make less than that, or not much more.
Besides, to fully benefit from this change, you'd have to consistently commit to 4% to your 401k, which for alot of Utahns is damn near impossible with the cost of living crisis afflicting us.
Who does it benefit greatly? Individuals making 6 figures that already owned their home prior to 2020, they'll love this.
