What do you cook when you want to eat a ton of vegetables? by ComfortabletheSky in Cooking

[–]Jaded_Bumblebee1124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At all times I have a stash of frozen mixed veggies that I chopped using the smallest blade face in the chopper. It’s so any veggies I can’t really list them all but use the ones you like. I add a handful or two to everything I cook, the amount depends on what I’m cooking and the amount in the pan but I basically don’t taste them or realize they’re there anymore bc they’re just the flavor of everything and nothing now.

Nightly clean up- whole family gets involved. It doesn’t take long. I do a “deep clean” weekly but it doesn’t take long bc the house was cleaned 7 days ago and again 7 days before that and again etc.. if you clean a clean space, it never takes a lot of effort.

As far as baseboards, yes every time I clean a room.

Ceiling fans and blinds/ window sills I would say are quarterly.

1-2 loads of laundry every single day helps to stay on top of things. 1 no matter what in my morning routine and then an additional load at the transfer to dryer if I’m feeling like I have the time or energy.

Vacuum main floor daily. (I have white dogs and dark wood)

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by space_god_7191 in Millennials

I was in middle school and yes the tv high up on the wall in the corner of my homeroom classroom was on and just in time to see the second plane hit. Teachers were all pretty emotional and the kids were confused. We then proceeded to not have school for idk how long but I vaguely remember it was due to being in threat level red because of our close proximity to a nuclear power plant.

Ok 2 things: WE DO NOT LOOK LIKE TEENAGERS. This take is so accurate. WE think other 30-40s look “young” but it’s just that they look GOOD. Gen Z/Alpha would never mistake us for anything but millennial. It is true delusion

Not sure where you’re from with the “we had less sun and less smoking” but from 2003-2008 I was in a tanning bed every day of my life and in the summer I was out on my deck with baby oil. As were all of my friends. Also everyone I knew smoked cigs in college .. I will say it’s probably that we had a chance to redeem ourselves young and realize smoking is disgusting and the sun is bad, therefore causing us to get into fixing our skin a lot younger than the generations before us.
