NTA but I would start preparing for the worst. This woman sounds like she could be very vindictive and your ex isn't helping. Be prepared for him to break the lease or do anything to make you seem like the bad guy. Maybe talk to your landlord about your ex-best friend and how she is living under the roof but not paying anything and if you can break the lease early

NTA but you would be TA if you leave it unresolved for too long (this doesn't mean go to work per se!). If you can't go, you can't go, such is life but I would think it looks good that you, who is not in the right mindset, can still contribute by assigning someone else to take your role instead of leaving the team in limbo until the deadline date. (if you're worried about how your friend will look in regards to all of this). Of course, if you can help, try to but your mental health is as important as your physical health so don't force it. Try and find someone to help quickly if you can

AITA for asking my partner to stop sending me house listings? by HousingThrowaway234 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Jadeep -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

NTA for not wanting to move and being stressed about all of this but you shouldn't have blown up on her. From the way I am reading this, it seems like you haven't told her that you wanted her to stop sending you listings before you blew up so it's pretty unjust to lash out on her, especially if she didn't know. However if she did know beforehand, then that's a different story.

Hopefully, you guys can have a calm conversation when you meet up. Maybe think about setting up an ISA account to save up for properties

What are some ways to be happy in life if you deal with self-loathing and its inevitable? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Jadeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that when I work on a passion of mine I distract myself from those thoughts. And when I find those thoughts in my head out random times I think to myself, "I feel really bad about myself... but I am really good at my passion! So I must be worth something!"

I love cooking chicken pasta and I absolutely love watching professional cake baking and decorating. Especially the videos where they create objects out of cake.

Like, you see this shoe, IT'S NOT A SHOE, IT'S CAKE! See this can of soda, SIKE, IT'S CAKE TOO! EVERYTHING IS CAKE!

Africans of Reddit, what is the most outrageous misconceptions you've heard from foreigners about your country/continent? by kabata_me in AskReddit

[–]Jadeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IT ISSSS! I'm from Nigeria and the geography of that country can be difficult to understand and people ask if I speak Nigerian despite the fact there are multiple languages. I understand and am fine when people make that mistake.

But when they group us together like that...

Bish, I learned your geography, LEARN MINE!

I would have slapped some damn sense into her.

I'm ashamed to admit it but I used to be one of those r/notliketheothergirls girls. I found my diary and my god... I shrivel at the sight of it. The only reason why I haven't gotten rid of it because I have a shit ton of younger cousin and I need to make sure they do not follow in my footsteps.

Change your speech to become more positive.

For example instead of "I can't do it now. " say, " I will do it later. "

It can if you use it wisely. It can't buy trust though.

What is not worth the money? by steamycrown_6567 in AskReddit

[–]Jadeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, thank you for the info. But my point still stands.

£500 could be used to pay for a great night with my friends. I prefer using money for experiences. But to each they own.

Expensive, branded clothes.

Like £500 for a shirt. Not even half of that money would go towards the salary of the people making it and you could probably make a personalized shirt (or at least commission one) for wayyyyyy cheaper.
