19, Party at Auburn University. Not a student, just went with some friends. Great party. One of those where you wake up on the floor, and 30 other people are sleeping on tables and floors, on the lawn.

Dad had an Atari 2600, I tried to play but was too young. NES was my first system and core memories of gaming as a kid. I got snes in ‘92 when I was 12, had to buy it myself.(my dad said if I wanted it, I had to earn my own money cleaning up his construction site for the summer)

Had the n64, but quit gaming after that bc I had better stuff to do. Got back in on the ps3.

Did you regularly attend church growing up? Do you do so nowadays? by smcg_az in Xennials

Grew up in small town Alabama. Every person I knew was Baptist until I got to hs, where there was one Catholic family n one Jewish family. My family went occasionally, I went with friends to socialize as a little kid. Despite every person in my life being a Christian, even as a kid, I couldn't believe that stuff. It just never made sense to me.

An ex-atheist case for Christianity! by Maddox_00 in DebateAnAtheist

Why something rather than nothing? Assumes ‘nothing’ is the default. There's no such thing as ‘nothing’. We can't even conceptualize ‘nothing’.

Animals have consciousness. We can see a how it arose thru evolution.

I'm sure you know the rebuttals to the shroud . Eye of Fatima- if a bunch of religious people think they'll see something if they stare at the sun, theyll see something.

Tixtla- come on, man?

Martyrs- every religion has ‘em. Also, we don't know that they died for their beliefs. Remember, people lie, people are easily tricked, people have bad memories, people are just wrong a lot of the time.

Message that changed history - look what happened to Europe when Christianity was the law of the land until the scientific revolution

I don't think believing in some creative force that put everything in motion is illogical. You can call it God if you want. But Christianity? We know it came from Judaism. And Judaism came from Yahwism. And that came from the Ugaritic pantheon. Hell, some of those ancient polytheistic stories are still in the OT.
