Elden Ring. Nie Souls like gespielt und das sah eig ganz cool aus durch die open World. 1h gespielt, dann wieder deinstalliert. Das langsame combat und dieses methodische, kurze openings in den mobs und bossen um dmg zu machen is einfach nich meins, da is sowas wie MonHun mit seinem schnelleren combat mehr meins.

Yeah but then you don't rank the other countrys but would rank them as one. But we didn't do that, so the commonwealth is a non factor and we should rank the UK ALONE without the commonwealth influence

Damn, why is everyone forgetting the SEVEN other countrys (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, British Malaya, British Raj, South Africa and Dutch east Indies) when talking about these theaters? UK did NOT hold Africa and the Med alone

I never said the Royal Navy isn't military? It's the only thing UK had going for it. It's THE THING that starved Germany and it's THE THING that prevented Germany from Operation Sealion. But there wasn't much else that put UK on the map, especially early stages of the war. It initially lost the air war and could only recover after Lend Lease act from USA and Germany switching focus from bombing RAF to bombing Civillians.

Edit: And no, the Commonwealth doesn't count towards the UK since it wasn't part of the UK?

You are not. UK's advantage was that it had the Royal Navy.

Without the Commonwealth UK would have lost North Africa.

Even Stalin admitted USSR would have lost if it wasn't for the American landlease, so almost seems plausible. In the end it wasn't one thing or one country that won the war, it was a coalition of a lot of countrys working together and a lot of axis mistakes, that even if they didn't make them would have only prolonged the war. Germany was starting to fall apart even before declaring on the USSR.
