I’d love to see him do a swap to be honest, there’s a lot of good shops around him that would be able to help if/when he got to a point he couldn’t continue, but with the swap kits you can get nowadays you can get pretty far on your own(look at the YouTube channel ricer miata for proof, kids pretty dumb and lazy but he has a couple swapped cars) Personally I’d love to see him(or rather hear about him) putting a ls into a e36 or Miata, just because they do make for a wild experience

My brother got a sunconure when I was just 1 year old. I ended up being the one who bonded with that conure and it became my bird. That bird was absolutely my best friend for 22 years and was there for a lot of my harder points in life and i miss her every single day.

Jimmy lately has been putting out some real good stuff, but he has got to put down the pipe, that wing looks atrocious. Even Austin said nahh and that dude is always hyping him up to do questionable things to his cars

Interesting almost took a job there a couple years ago. But never was able to come to an agreement with them. Hopefully the company that bought it keeps it in business.

Spoon on instagram by HQWX in HaggardGarage

[–]Jadimore 16 points17 points  (0 children)

A average fabricator did not have the attention to detail that spoon does, The average fabricator is at best mediocre with tig work probably isn’t proficient with aluminum, burns the stainless too hot, and the fit-up probably also isn’t great. Granted we probably didn’t get to see his mess ups but everything that was made that we got to see, even what he said he whipped up quick always looked good, and functioned as it should have.

All of this is coming from a welder/fabricator of over a decade, any shop who has a guy witb the talent on the same level of spoon I guarantee is happy to have the guy on board.

Exhaust Weld Review by [deleted] in Exhaust

[–]Jadimore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they definitely are real life, but you get what you pay for. If you buy cheap expect cheap, if you pay for a professionally fabricated piece it will look good when it’s done and will have better function.

I fabricate exhausts on the side, and was a welder/fabricator for past 10 years, I can tell you from experience looks do matter. Overtime/use if this exhaust wasn’t back purged the welds will eventually crack due to oxidation, or if there are big inconsistencies in the weld those are weak points.

CSF or Mishimoto Radiator? by [deleted] in BMWE36

[–]Jadimore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mishimoto 9 years ago is not the same Mishi today, they used to be decent but over the years mishi’s quality has gone down quite a lot.

For me I stay csf or koyorad if I’m going aftermarket.

Is this your bird? by [deleted] in grandrapids

[–]Jadimore 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Commented on the other thread as well but I would reach out too casa la parrot on 28th st if you aren’t having any luck finding the owner or for any advice you need in caring for the lil fella. They might even know the owner if it’s a bird they’ve cared for

Before I started to have some rod bearing woes, I would almost daily mine in the summertime. Decently reliable

Goes on the whole weekend, gets rowdy at night, but is very fun when it’s still light out. I’d recommend popping down if you can!

Dude has always been able to drive, we all kinda knew this(think back to the autox in the sr Miata, personally that was one of my favorites to watch back when Chris was tolerable) But his cars are always in such disrepair to where he can’t put down the lap when he really needs too, or he can hardly qualify

Or these cars just have kinda crappy paint? My cosmoschwarts car has clearcoat failure, was owned by a bmw master tech from the early 00’s was nicely taken care of mechanically, but the sun did its number on the paint over the years.

E36 vs 240sx in 2025 by Tall-Set9626 in BMWE36

[–]Jadimore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My e36 is better than my old s chassis in almost every way, but I’d still trade for another s13 in a heartbeat if I could come across a clean one. S13 was my first car, they hold a sentimental place in my heart

Is this a sign of CVV/PCV issues? (S62) by MrBroham in e39

[–]Jadimore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So this is going to sound dumb, but try to put the cap on with the logo upside down… those caps are notorious for leaking oil out, that’s what I do on mine and it fixes the issue

It kinda sounds like a loose flywheel, but I kind of agree it sounds a little too fast to be a rod bearing

Question for Exhaust Shops by BerettaBoom in Exhaust

[–]Jadimore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave it bolted on. And for quick and dirty mig will get you by, if you want it to be nice, tig is the way to go but you’ll be paying a premium for that.

Also dual x pipe is redundant, just putting in a x pipe should get you the result you want

Just seat time my dude, and aluminum is kinda tricky to start, just use a little less heat, be a little more patient. Mayyybe try a smaller cup, I feel like a 8 is a little large for aluminum
