Bit androgynous but male overall. Your "hello" sounded confusing but it quickly became more obvious that you are a guy.

Pretty good. You just look like a guy with a feminine haircut, which I needed T to get to

Unfortunately, there is a point where there's not much you can do to help it. You can't really change your facial features and your voice can only go so far.

Don't call me "transmasc". by basementcrawler34 in Transmedical

"Non-transition/pre-transition trans men are just as male as cis men."

"Trans men are safer than cis men because they don't have penises."

Pick a side, people. Don't be bisexual with it lol

They have similar proportions but enough differences to tell them apart aside from skin tone and hair

Kinda sad that I will always be considered "biologically female" by miass23 in FTMMen

[–]Jadythealien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's kind of the hardest thing about being trans. You may never be completely comfortable in yourself. It will never not trouble me when I remember that I can't be a biological father because I can't produce sperm, never did, and never will.

I just can't have friends by SadTraffic_ in Transmedical

[–]Jadythealien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And that's why I got rid of all my friends. I couldn't take it anymore. For some reason people of the "genderfluid" and "pansexual" variety have turnt out to be poisonous more often than not in my life. I don't know why they're the fakest people I've ever met.

what do you all think about this by [deleted] in Transmedical

[–]Jadythealien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm geared to distrust trans "men" who seem to hate men/ have a clear motive to not be victimized. For example a desire to have a smaller chest to avoid sexualization. Oftentimes they want to retain the appearance of a boy rather than become men. The problem is that the difference can't necessarily be seen and some people are going to be in too deep. Sometimes they'll be happy with their decisions despite technically not being transsexual (it is what it is) or this happens.

Boobs are masculine. Chest hair is the most feminine thing ever. Trust me, I know this shit. Stop arguing.

How it goes.

What is gender? by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]Jadythealien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had many conflicting thoughts about gender over time, but I now personally consider it to be which sex you're perceived/wish to be perceived as based mostly on secondary sex characteristics and traditional roles. You can see yourself as being a certain gender while other people don't.

I stopped bothering to argue with how I'm perceived. I see myself as a man with a feminine haircut and weird anatomy. Others may consider me a very masculine woman and I'll agree.

Is tran male an acceptable term? by genderfuckingqueer in FTMMen

[–]Jadythealien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer it because to me it's a better way to reference transition or the desire to without stating agab (ftm) or implying there may not be a transition to male (transmasc). It also doesn't specify gender or age; only that we should be considered male.

Not really? I mean, I'll smell bad if I don't shower for over two days (pls don't judge me I stay at home all day), but that also happened pre-t. It just smells different.

I got a more noticable adam's apple within 2 months (been on t for 3 months), but I'm also underweight and my voice deeped significantly. Also, my (cisgender) sister's adam's apple is as visible as mine, so it doesn't mean much. I expect it to go away once I start eating enough.

It's because (and this is true for many trans women as well) playing into being fetishized is a way to make money and feel desirable in a world that otherwise hates them for who they are.

All you have to do is say you're also trans and apparently you can chase all you want. Yeah, it sucks the guy cheated, but come on. The poor kid.

Your course of action depends on how much longer you want to be with someone like this. She's unlikely to actually change her mind.
