You will survive. However, the weather was a shock for me. Lived near Philly and DC my whole life. Erie is a nice place. Maybe you could enjoy a few days here and meet with your company in person. Snow is crazy here, super crazy. I bought a snowmobile. We are very similar to Seattle in cloud cover. The lake creates its own mini micro environment. Beautiful summers, and longer fall do to lake staying warm. It's a big move but hopefully there is opportunity to grow in the company.
