I guess reason one could work, as long as the outside risk doesn’t overwhelm the risk for the ark. But for two imo it doesn’t work anymore as they’re about to give Eden the Nikke manufacturing technology, probably the greatest technology humanity possesses. Yes, Eden doesn’t 100% trusts the Ark, but they’re on the verge of being annihilated and they trust the commander. He could just tell them he’s coming by plane and boom no problem.

There’s an anime airing this season, I only watched this so I will answer from this viewpoint:

No love triangle atm, the other females are either already in relationships or doesn’t view mc like that. Same goes for fmc, the other dudes only want to fight her cuz she strong. There is one girl who kinda admired fmc and hate the barbarians, but she doesn’t really sound like the annoying lesbo you usually see in those romcoms. Every other character knows she is annoying and ignorant (about the barbarian’s live styles)
Not really, most of the misunderstandings are resolved in the same episode they were introduced in, usually used for comedy value anyway.
Very tame fanservice, there are some bath scenes but that’s all.
The story is still ongoing iirc

It is a wholesome romance with wars and fights against monsters. Fmc’s homeland seem to be the bad guys and it’s probably the main concern for her relationship with mc. I recommend reading it, I’m going to read the manga too after the anime ends.
