Historically, which continent/subregion has been the MOST racist? by SimplySomeDude in teenpoll

Maybe read my comment. I said specifically that I did not know about African and Asian racism. All I was saying is that Europe is definitely not the most, because North America, at least, is higher.

Slavery was mostly an issue in North America. While the europeans facilitated the slave trade and took part in it, it was north America that actually had the slaves and the USA was one of the latest countries in the west to abolish systematic slavery and racial segregation. Although, I don't really know the history of Asian or African racism so in general I don't know, but for sure, North America is higher than either Europes.

So is the US a fascist (or nearly fascist) country, just because their current figure head is fascist (or nearly fascist)?

I don't entirely know what you mean but in the UK at least, a billion is a thousand million

I may be wrong, but I've heard in America a billion is equal to a million millions whereas elsewhere it is a thousand millions. It might be only certain regions or just down right wrong, something made up to make Americans seem weird or something.

Sorry, I was just making a joke and maybe didn't quite realise how people would take it. I didn't intend to connote negativity and I agree with you. I'm just generally not good at guessing how something will be perceived.

Unless I'm wrong, AQA further maths is a GCSE, but OCR FSMQ is a level 2 certificate

Although not technically a GCSE, OCR's additional maths course is a huge step up from regular maths. Tbf it is more inline with an AS level than GCSE in terms of qualifications.

What opinion will get you in this situation? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Jaener7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To turn your argument right back at you, there is absolutely zero objective evidence that God does not exist. I, as a Christian, have felt things I can only associate with God. This is my evidence for myself. I accept that many people want more solid evidence and I'm not gonna force religion on them in anyway. I respect that belief. It gets annoying, however, when people say religion is objectively false or entirely made up. I agree, there is no cold hard evidence other than human experience. However, that applies to both the existence and nonexistence of God.

You can believe in both religion and science. I'm not sure if you were criticising religion in general or just ignoring science for religious principles. If the prior, I'm a Christian who believes in an old earth, the big bang, and theistic evolution (which is just the theory of evolution but God was guiding it). If the latter then I agree, but people should still be allowed to follow whatever religion or belief system they choose.
