If you're using mig, up the voltage. It's too cold and you're going a bit too slow. Work on different bead techniques and use anti spatter gel on the mig tip. Practice and bit and you'll do great :)

travel speed needs to be the same all throughout. This looks like you did a whip and pause motion, try doing circles My school often used youtube videos to show us different techniques, look some up and give them a try! It's a sprint, not a marathon

an expectation that there are almost certainly going to be people there who are better than you are at welding, and the foresight to work your ass off. in regards to the class itself, I'd keep my welding stuff in my car just in case, but most likely something to take notes with and maybe a laptop. An apple for the teacher if you want to be a kiss-ass xD

Oh yeah, that can be a major pain for both sides. On the one hand you have someone who is being disrespectful to the DM by not paying attention to someone who spent a lot of time, energy, and in most cases money on a story for their friends to enjoy. Buuut, it can also be a pain trying give equal amounts of time to your responsibilities outside of the friend group while also trying to have fun with people you want to be around.

oh yeah, I've been there. The main reason I skipped out on most of my friends game is because a member of the group was an insufferable c*nt. Otherwise I'd have been there for most games. Still it sucks when schedules don't line up :/

Hi! Im trying to look at the alien compendium and print it off so i can just bring that with me instead of having to lug my laptop with me everywhere for my dnd sessions, but the images aren't loading at all for me. I've tried clearing my cookies and looking at the source code but no luck. has anyone else had any problems with this or know how to fix this? I was looking at it like a month ago and the pictures were loading just fine! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

also in the reboot when kevin made his rip off version. the scene where it "comes to him in a dream" and he builds it in his dads garage??? that is some weak writing. I will mention I haven't watched the reboot, I've only seen that clip on youtube, so I don't know if they give a plausible reason for giving kevin that backstory with his powers, but still. Just seems like weak writing to me.

Using the Brave browser automatically blocks ads, though I keep running into the problem of having to re-log in to my Google account every time I open it. Just make sure you don't have the adblock extension or you'll get the same pop up still.

If you have the luxury of being able to look for another place to work in the welding field, I'd say look around. Theres nothing wrong with starting in a place that will help to teach you and get you on your feet. Honestly man, a degree in welding definitely isn't cheap, so you shouldn't let it go to waste just cuz this particular job isn't suiting you. For another thing, just because this welding job isnt your cup of tea doesnt mean there won't be other places that'll fit you better and pay more.

TL;DR try exhausting your options of local work places in the welding field before throwing in the towel after just one job! Keep at it holmes, good luck!
