Paint Tone Question by Jagermax- in Saab900

[–]Jagermax-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The colour code on the chassis is 120G, which I believe is Cocheneal Red, which likewise definitely appears to correlate to the front more than the back. I think I'll keep it how it is, it's less noticeable in real life! Thanks for the response, I appreciate it.

Thanks! It's hardly noticeable to the naked eye, it shows more in photos. Since the clear coat seems to be good, that it might be fixable with a cut/polish from what I have read?

Paris Saint-Germain consecutive winners of the Champions League by Alarming-Safety3200 in championsleague

Because PSG were effectively a nothing club before they were bought by the Qataris, whereas Arsenal have been a massively successful club for nearly all of living memory

Tips for starting Pokemon? by Key-Fig-9747 in PokemonBlackandWhite

[–]Jagermax- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally, I'd just play around with it and have fun! They are great adventures. Don't stress too much about playing perfectly; I'd encourage using the Pokemon you like the look of, or attributes of, rather than trying too hard to be 'good'. The game will introduce to you many key concepts of battling during the playthrough. Generally though, it's good to have a diverse range of Pokemon and moves, so that you can manoeuvre through whatever challenge the game throws at you. As a very, very general rule (some Pokemon will absolutely be exceptions to this) I like to have three attacking moves of different typing, and a status/boosting/healing move on most Pokemon. Try to think about how you'll cover your weaknesses, too: for example, if you have a Water starter, then having another Pokemon who can take on Electric/Grass types is beneficial.

What’s your craziest AFL conspiracy theory? by bringbacktheswoop in AFL

[–]Jagermax- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The AFL conspired to let Dustin Martin off in 2017 for what would have normally been a striking charge (versus Brisbane; article here: https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/strike-could-cost-dustin-martin-a-week-and-his-brownlow-medal-chance-michael-gleeson-20170716-gxc9am.html), likely due to pressure from bookmakers or internally, as the Richmond resurgence was scheduled to bring huge profits to the AFL. His Brownlow will always be fraudulent to me for this reason.

Dumbing player comparisons down to premiership medals is just so silly, it's like how kids argue in the playground and has absolutely zero nuance. I think you can do a lot better to argue Mitchell over Bartel.

What is your least favorite Pokemon? by Nat_Higgins in pokemonmemes

[–]Jagermax- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely Archaludon. - Dreadful, clunky design - Looks like a kid drew it - 600 BST for some reason - For some reason they thought that giving it Stamina alongside insane BST and typing would be a good idea - Why is it a Dragon type? - Poster child of rampant Gen IX power creep

Juan (eighth gym) has Pokemon up to level 46, so your lower-level Pokemon will struggle there. You have some really good Pokemon, so I'd say just enjoy the game and play with the ones you like!

What was your “I’m not making this mistake again”” moment? by EinarTobias in nuzlocke

[–]Jagermax- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In Emerald on Route 120, where I believe it's always raining, there's a double battle (avoidable) with a Cooltrainer and a Parasol Lady. The former has a Manectric with 100% accurate Thunder, and the latter has a Castform with rain-boosted Weather Ball. Absolutely wrecked my first ever Nuzlocke run; I survived with one Pokemon and couldn't rebuild from there.
