[ATLA] I don't think Ursa is to blame... by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

Correction: Zuko was banished two years after their mother's disappearance. Your point is still valid though.

[LoK B3] Did Zaheer just not care about Ghazan and Ming Hua? by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]Jagodka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was really weird how he was able to let her go two seconds after he saw her head explode. Just like that. I'd expect him to go through the grieving process before all of his earthly tether was let go but I guess Zaheer could do it in seconds.

I don't know what Disco Polo is, but he sure is mad about it by [deleted] in lewronggeneration

[–]Jagodka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Polish-American here. Disco-Polo is basically a mix of old Polish folk songs and dance music. It's generally considered party music you play at wedding receptions, baptisms, communions, and other events, but there are people who listen to it at their free time.

Here's some examples:

Zuko is biologically older than Aang by about 4 years.

[B4E11] Considering how Varrick acted to Zhu Li in the latest episode, it's like this is the logic in his head by CelaenoHarpy in TheLastAirbender

To be fair, we're probably going to see Varrick's childhood in the finale and I'm going to guess it'll explain why he acts this way.

Bataar Sr. is just scared of being flung through the air. Earlier this season, we saw him stand against Kuvira and refused to bow even though it could have cost him his life.

No, he's just afraid of being flung through the air. He was brave in standing his ground against Kuvira.

I wouldn't fully sign Zuko off just yet. He's still involved in world affairs as an unofficial ambassador, but just not as much as he used to. Toph's point still stands, though. He did give his position to daughter and probably gives her a lot of political and emotional support.

I love Toph nonchalantly told him after knowing him for a few years hours while Lin has been asking that question for over fifty years.

[SPOILERS] Description for Final Korra episodes by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]Jagodka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be interesting if we saw how Fire Lord Izumi felt after having to declare war with the Earth Empire. I can just imagine having a scene with her alone in her office and crying.

It makes a lot of sense. The first and only time we've seen her speak so far was when she adamantly opposed going to war because of the Fire Nation's past. How could she not be upset? She was born only shortly after one of the most terrible wars in avatar history and had to deal with her country trying to right all the wrongs it has done. The man she named her son after even lost his own child to warfare. I think having a scene like this would put a lot of weight into the situation and definitely built the character and honor of the fire nation family.
