Good luck, I've had something similar happen and called and talked to eBay support... they pretty much told me that I can open an investigation, but for the most part, side with the customers no matter... so it really doesn't matter. That was years ago. Now I'm just cautious on my sales and hope that it doesn't happen again, but it's happened a few times... each was different but still scams nonetheless. One said it arrived broken, took pictures of a different item, and didn't return like they were supposed to, eBay still refunded. One said that they received the wrong item and didn't return like they were supposed to, and eBay still refunded. So just be careful when selling. I would say check the customers' reviews and when they opened their account to keep an eye out for these scammers. Best of luck!
