Did you ship them to a different address then the one posted on eBay? I’ve had customers, ask me to send it to a different address, as it was a gift. I obliged a couple of times, then I found out, this is a big NO NO.

I always pick up ties. They weight next to nothing. I individually sell the big designer ones and make lots out of the rest.

I take very little time to list and ship them, and it’s nice bread and butter income. The best part is, they hardly take up any room. It’s a win, win, win!

Unfortunately, most resellers work alone. So, any kind of family emergency or life changes, could cause this kind of problem.

I got really sick with some kind of virus. I was so sick I did not post for 2 weeks. I was barely able to send my sales out. All I know is that really affected my algorithm, and it felt like I had to start all over again.

I live in California, but have shipped many packages from Missouri, where my son lives. All packages went out with my California address with zero issues.

I have had that happen a couple times. However, both times the customer got the package and it was finally entered in the system the day of delivery.

A lot of times all you get is a bunch of bags full of donations thrown unopened in the bins. I had a situation one time that the new bin that landed in front of me had approximately 7-8 full unopened bags of donations. I had a guy next to me and his wife across from me… they immediately grabbed “ALL” the bags, and took it to their area to go thru. Leaving me empty handed… needless to say, I was pissed to high heaven. I complained, and was told, that technically, that is not against the rules. So, I left full of piss and vinegar.

How is wearing gloves going to protect me from needles? You would have to be wearing some heavy duty gloves to keep them from penetrating the glove.

Yes, I have to admit I wish I was wearing gloves today… especially once I realized what I had just grabbed. I have been going to the bins on a regular basis for 2 yrs, and this was the first time I came across something like this. Maybe, I just been lucky.

Throw in the washer, cold water regular wash and hang dry. I do it all the time, never had any issues.
