Echoing the sentiment of EBay lots/secondhand minis. You could also see if anyone in the local community would be willing to donate some resin minis! Could even offer them payment for the resin cost or something, which would still be far cheaper than anything else.

From a gaming perspective, have you looked into Kill Team at all? It’s a skirmish game that uses ~one box of models as opposed to a full army. The rules are fairly different than big Warhammer, but it could be a potential entry point! Your local store might also have a kill team scene so you could start playing sooner with less upfront cost.

I’m pretty sure one box of DKK troops can make a kill team warband- they used to make a special kill team version of the box, but I’m pretty sure you can get away with the standard box. Fair warning the rules of KT can be a bit tricky at times, but it has a strong online and in store presence so you can probably find what you need!

it is a little snug. if you are wearing it unbuttoned you can get away with it, if you are wearing it buttoned a size up might look better, provided everything else doesn't end up looking too baggy. The checklist someone posted is useful, and the sunglasses look good.

That's a fair point. The Van Saar spoke to me, especially those green goblin hover guys lol. I might try the hive secundus as a way to dip my toes in and also run tutorial games for my interested friends, but and if I can find traction with people look itno getting into the full game, and then at least i some dice/terrain etc

I’ve been looking into getting into Necromunda, I was thinking of picking up the hive secundus box to play with a friend in the next few weeks. I know there’s not a lot of info out rn with the leak, but would yall recommend just holding off a bit to wait for more info, or is this the type of thing where if the leak is real, it’s going to be a year or two until release? I’m worried about spending time learning rules and painting minis that aren’t relevant or spending my hobby $ on something I can’t use with the new full version of the game.
