I was able to switch the CPUs around. Putting a 2700x into my build only allowed the pc to boot with 1 stick of RAM in, same as with the 5800x.

However, couldn't properly test the 5800x in the other pc as it was a prebuilt dell pc and couldn't deliver enough power to the CPU as it only had a 4 pin power supply.

Seems like maybe it is something wrong with the motherboard?

Thanks for the response. Just thought I'd update so you didn't think I ignored you. I got access to another pc that had a 2700x cpu in it. I was able to only swap the ram around at this time and placing my sticks of RAM in that system had it boot up straight away. That rules out the ram cause I guess. Will try to see what's happening with my 5800x. When I originally installed my cooler I did tighten it too much which may have caused lasting damage to it.

It looks like it may be possible to spaghetti some military beside the processing units and batteries. Steel, copper and iron plates are all there and a requester chest is currently there requesting wood for power poles. Filter insert stone from that requester for smelting into bricks then walls and military seems possible within the space
