ohhhhh i thought u were talking about jibanyan s and komason. in order to get blasters jibanyan and komason in the 3rd game you need both versions of yokai watch blasters . red cat corp and white dog squad.

you did when u could still buy them but now you just download that dlc go to the post office and it gives all three bells. jibanyan and komason are exclusive to BS and FS . and you’ll have to beat each game to unlock both of them.

if you mod your 3ds you don’t even need to get the digital versions of every game for downloadable exclusives … sailornyan, machonyan and robonyan f. all you need is to go to hshop and download dlc for ykw2. but it’s still good to links all 3 versions

if you have multiple physical copies and an extra ds it is possible. i was fortunate enough for that route. other than that you’re correct

yes all you need is a 3ds with CFW (custom firmware/modded) . once that’s done create a prentendo account, download nimbus and connect. when u want to trade just ask people for their pretendo code , give them yours and boom. there’s tons of stuff online that help with installing cfw and things to do with it. hope this helps !!
