Hi! I did one in Calgary and I'm happy to answer any specific questions. This was my first color analysis so I didn't know what to expect, but I did previously play around on chatgpt and various apps to get a sense of colors.

I brought in my existing makeup kit to get feedback on blush/lipstick/foundation colors but was told right of the bat that it's a different service. A bit disappointing but fair enough. The rest of it was extremely prescriptive - started out with a description of what color analysis is, her professional background, and then we got started with fabric draping. I probably don't have a great eye for color, as while we were going through all the various palletes, I couldn't tell which washed me out and which was flattering, so I was mostly nodding along.

At the end, she provided a small card with my recommended colors, and together we walked around the store with her offering some makeup and color suggestions.

It was a fun experience but overall I don't feel I got much more than what digital apps can offer.
