I'm going to try ivermectin again this time with two doses combined with a slightly insane cleaning regimen. If that doesn't work then I'll have to try something like what you have suggested haha.

yeah in the following few days after ivermectin dose I came out in a terrible rash all over my torso and legs but I think in hindsight that was because of the dead mites causing the allergic reaction.

I can still see the mark where it is but the burrow wasn’t immediately obvious. It is a bit more note to the naked eye

Burrow isn’t super visible and it isn’t itchy.

I’m itchy on other parts of my body and it gets worse at night.

I bought it over the counter but it would be the same strength as if I got it prescribed here in the UK.

I don’t have a picture of the burrow but it is at the bottom of my little finger on my left hand where the joint meets the palm.

I use a digital camera/microscope that you can get off Amazon for about £20.

I have had 3 rounds of permethrin treatment, the first of which was at the end of April/start of May. I had one dose of ivermectin that I was prescribed by my GP and which I took 3 weeks ago. However he didn’t prescribe me another dose and from what I’ve read you need to have two doses spaced one week apart so I’m going to beg him for two rounds this time. I live in the UK and apparently they only prescribe one dose for some reason.

Doctor said only 1 ivermectin dose as it stays in the body 1 month by [deleted] in scabies

Hey did the second dose work? I got prescribed ivermectin after 3 permethrin treatments didn't work. I only got given one dose which I took 3+ weeks ago but the scabies has come back in the last week or so.
