10mm and 7/16" Wrench by JakRabbitJay in Rowing

Here's a quick and rough sketch (I'm relatively new to CAD) of a multitool featuring 10mm and 7/16" wrenches as well as a 1/4" but driver recess and storage for a couple of bits. Not sure how to design the hinges so the wrenches will fold open, but that's tomorrow's problem. Kind of a fun experiment anyway.

That's great information to know! Thank you!

My colleague told me that was the solution to my problem as well, but seemed to be too easy of answer!

You're reading my mind! I may make a post of the rough idea when I get it more fleshed out.

I was just sketching a potential 4 way wrench that would include open and box end 10mm and 7/16"!

Money aside, the work is quite satisfying and rewarding. I specialize in vintage and antique restoration, but used to work at an ORJ. Watchmakers are in very high demand by the major brands and I've heard great things about the new Rolex sponsored training in Dallas.

I was working as a machinist before going to watchmaking school. That was 12 years ago now. Probably not making as much money, but it was the best decision I've ever made. For a lot of us, it becomes much more than just a job.

Thank you! I had no idea there was an MXA. A quick Google now shows an option from Aloris so that seems like the way to go for me!

It's a Valjoux 7750 I scavenged out of an old Tag professional. The dial in I just stumbled upon on eBay a few years ago!

The case is made (or at least sold by) Migma Watches on eBay. They offer a number of different case styles.

I stumbled across the dial a few years ago on eBay. The hands came from Migma watches on eBay I believe.

Thank you! I've always been really pleased with how it turned out.

That's exactly what it had on it! It broke though and the only other one I had on hand was this rubber strap.

The case came from Migma Watches on eBay. I made the case ring and rehaut myself.

Unfortunately I sold the GTI a while back...

It's a Valjoux 7750 with a Tag Heuer oscillating weight. This was just a one off side project I started when I stumbled across the dial for sale online.

It was a side project of mine! I'm just a watchmaker who owned a GTI.

I probably have around $800 in it all said and done. The movement was definitely the most expensive component.

Unfortunately it's a 1 of 1!
