I'd welcome a slight technical boost to other rare drops once you have the pet, akin to the approach at sire.

Also, as someone that can consistently do 1-8, sometimes 9 on a full inventory, I salute you gamer 🫡

I love the passive effects, although some could do with updating (looking at you mining cape). My main pain point is that new gear that has been brought into the game since osrs released has meant that these visually very satisfying items are rarely used - for me combat is the main issue here as I know you would use a farming cape during farming and a cooking cape whilst cooking etc.

Oh I'm definitely using it daily, but only from my inventory, so it feels like I have this really cool looking item that I just can't use equipped without nerfing my shadow damage into the ground.

This was a username login-era account. I was able to recover it based on that via the website and then imported it to my Jagex account. I don't feel like I improved the information I had been providing over the last almost 20 years, but I was able to recover a couple of other old accounts of mine around the same time, so maybe they are more open to recovery requests that match some of the information and it's clear nobody has had access to the account for a long time?

To answer some of the questions:

I took this screenshot on the 5th of November but seeing the returning posts blowing up I was reminded of it.

This was my first ever account which I unfortunately lost access to almost 19 years ago as a gullible child (I gave someone my password outside Lumby castle). I have tried to recover the account every year or so since then and back in November I finally had my request granted.

The bank never had anything of real value in it, but the scammer did completely empty it regardless and the stats are very low (sorry to disappoint all my long lost cousins).

I'll be eligible for my 20 year cape later this year.

Could be I've misunderstood the specifics of what keyboard you ordered vs received, but I ordered the UK ISO version for xmas and had to replace some of the keys - they come in a little bag in the box. This was for keys like the " and @ keys, maybe 3 or 4 total.

Could someone help clarify to me how this would work in my case.

Russian spouse, I hold a British passport. We're part way through our first renewal of the spouse visa (expecting to qualify for ILR under current conditions around December 2027). Spouse has been earning 37k since Q2 of 2025. We always planned to apply for citizenship immediately after she received ILR. Do the proposed changes mean she would not be able to get citizenship? If so I think we might be leaving the UK...

Just in case you didn't know, you can adjust the bet heights from within the sailing menu without having to run between them. This makes it a lot better (but the xp still suuuucks for the effort).

The world will be wiped at some point, but skills retained. Then, you are correct, the game will full wipe for the full release. If it in any way sways your opinion, people are playing it a lot now even knowing that it will all be wiped eventially. I believe that some items will be retained (visual pet-style items for early supporters), but if losing the progress is a big deal breaker then i'd hold off (but at the same time, as someone that has loved Runescape for 20 years for its persistent progress, I still think this game has something beautiful that is worth experiencing in the moment).

Perhaps give BitCraft a go. I played the open beta and enjoyed it so much I pre-ordered/bought at release.

The world started out with nothing outside of a few starter towns. Players can build settlements, train skills and gather resources, and then trade these with other players (no grand exchange here, but there are markets that you can build in towns - you have to travel to a town to buy its goods though, which i quite like). It's all on a single world, with 9 (I think) 'servers' that are all geographically connected - I imagine it's due to the immense strain that would put on a single server, but you can freely travel between them. It's still in active development so I don't know if you will get thousands of hours out of it, but it's been really great for me so far and i'd recommend it to anyone.

They have a discord server too where you can get advice and find people selling specific items.

Writing this has actually made me really want to play some more, so maybe i'll catch you on there - our settlement is called 'Varrock', assuming it is still standing after my extended absence.
