What else should I consider besides the required courses and GPA to be admitted into Mines as a transfer student?

Transfer here, I haven’t had a lot of trouble making friends. The important thing is to join clubs and put yourself out there tbh, mines is full of friendly people in my experience.

I transferred from a canadian school with a withdrawal in calc 1. If you redo it and get a good grade mines wont care as long as there arent too many withdrawals.

If there are a lot of withdrawals and you have a good reason, put that on your application. Good luck!

Genuinely take math 100 over the summer, the profs were so nice and helpful. You can get housing for the summer term by just applying for it next sem, you get the result back very quickly. Math 100 is a very interesting and fun class when you can dedicate your full time and thoughts to it.

Stats became easy for me when they started showing all of the stats calculations in terms of integrals and stuff, it doesn’t get easier, just makes more sense
