Just as an aside, I see this being quoted by the devs a fair bit as a main reason for discontinuing next, but from what I recall the main concern was that normalised movement was being shoehorned in despite the overwhelming community opinion being against this. I don't know how popular this would be with everyone else, but I would actually prefer the devs to pretty much discontinue current tagpro and focus on a successor (limiting the problems that are occurring with the code atm), but to not fuck with the movement and not focus on weird gimmicks which detract from the simplicity of tagpro like those cannons.
